Family history
Landin's father, Talyn, served as an officer for the Department of Telepathic Regulation. As a result, the negative side of telepathy was often impressed upon Landin in his childhood.

His mother, Dorus, was the atypical housewife for a high-ranking government official, maintaining all things domestic and promoting the family's social reputation. Landin and his brother are no strangers to the high-scale dinner party.

Korbayn, Landin's younger brother by four years, chose to go a different path from his sibling and pursued a career with the Ullians' revolutionary memory retrieval field.
Education
Upon completion of basic Ullian education, Landin chose not to focus on his telepathic gift and decided to let his explorer's spirit have its way and joined Starfleet. His natural curiosity led to an interest in sciences, and thus Landin directed most of his Academy time and energy toward the subject.
Medical profile
Landin is in prime physical condition, and his telepathic abilities are on par with any other member of his race. Like any other Ullian, Landin is able to sense the minds of others, but is naturally defended against many other telepaths. This has been attributed (in theory) to the involutions of the Ullian forehead, which are similar in ways to those of the Ferengi, who so happen to share a similar resistance to telepathy.
Other
A lean-built man with the trademark involutions of the forehead, a genetic trait for all Ullians.

"Assimilation is complete..."

The website and the ODN are no longer separate entities. No jumping from one site to the other to get information. We have added to our technological distinctiveness to become one. The process of rebuilding the front-end is still ongoing. Making "a" website... that's easy. Making a website that uses all our content over decades... that's hard.
