Family history
The O'Hara's have always been farmers. Up until Timothy. Owning a large wheat property in rural Australia the O'Hara's are happy with manual labour. Timothy and his younger sister were known to be far more fond of study than their older brother. The family was always happy with only the 'run-of-the-mill' problems that families have. Tim's parents support their children's life pursuits and are very pleased to have a son and daughter that want to travel the stars but are still happy to work on the farm.
Timothy has had a number of girlfriends over the years but none of them have lasted longer than 3 years. His last girlfriend, Monica Kendell, was recently appointed to a position on the USS Galant, a Saber class vessel stationed near DS9.
While serving aboard the USS Minotaur Tim became romantically involved with her Captain - Kamra Iokah - until the pair had a falling out. Iokah was later lost along with the USS Minotaur and Tim feels that their relationship is unresolved and hopes to met up with Iokah to make ammends or at least finalise things.

Education
Attending local schools Timothy gained notice when he entered high school as very inventive and foresighted as well as physically gifted. He gained a sporting scholarship to attend Manchester Private school in England. Tim's genius in the pool was reflected in his grades with him topping 5 out of his six senior subjects. Applying for starfleet academy straight from Manchester Timothy was disappointed to be knocked back. He returned home and only reapplied the next year because of his parents encouragement.
Medical profile
Physically fit and athletic Timothy is extremely healthy. His growing up on the farm has given him a physical frame that can stand up to extreme levels of physical punishment. Apart from a slight bout of asthma as a child Timothy has suffered no major illnesses.
During the loss of the USS Minotaur Tim sustained injury from an exploding console as a large chuck of metal lodged in his abdomen. The metal was later removed but Tim has felt the residual effects as a tightness in the area.
