His mother emmigrated from England to France to find a better job. In France, she met Phillipe, who was a lieutenant stationed on Earth at that time. Shortly afterwards they got married, and Eilleen gave birth to a healthy twin.

Some time after he birth of the twins, their father got reassigned to a Frigate patrolling the Cardassian border. On a routine mission, contact with the ship was lost, and Starfleet HQ presumed that the ship was caught off-guard by an Orion pirate, and was probably destroyed, and the crew was noted as MIA.
Ender walked through High school as a normal student, recieving rather normal grades, exept for his 20th century history classes.
After High school, Ender got in the Academy as soon as he could, where he ran the standard curriculum
Ender's in perfect health, appart from a minor deviation in his hearing, caused by repeated otitis. This anomaly was rectified for the most part, and latest tests show that his hearing is back within "normal parameters"
Ender's a rather stereotype European Terran, with no special physical attributes, safe for a scar on his upper left arm, caused by an accident in his childhood
