          Family history
Terry Simmons owned a shop on the square in Ipswich, England, but their family lived outside the city in the countryside. When Eve was 12, Terry became an MP and the family moved into London.
Claire struggled with their city lifestyle, Terry's constant absence, and caring for five kids on her own. One night when Eve was 14, she overdosed on pain meds in conjunction with alcohol.
But while they lived in London, Rebecca (Terry and Claire's youngest daughter) got sick. When Rebecca turned three, she was diagnosed with Choriocytosis. While not usually a deadly condition in humans, it affected Rebecca's growing body. Her growth was stunted. She wasn't able to do things most children her age was able. But despite the fact that she was human and should have been more easily controlled by strobilin, hey condition progressively worsened. She died at the age of 7.
Eve who had raised Rebecca after their mother's death was devastated and decided to decorate herself to medicine.

Education
Eve studied at Cambridge Medical School and did a year abroad at John Hopkins Medical School. It was at John Hopkins while she was doing research that she was approached by Starfleet for a paper she authored. They asked her if after graduation if she would teach at Starfleet Medical.
          Medical profile
Eve suffers from an obscure eye condition that prevents corrective surgery on her near-sightedness and also occasionally causes debilitating migraines. Her work has always been more important than physical prowess, so while she's in decent health, but not in optimal physical condition.
          Other
Eve is slightly taller than average and not stocky, but not skinny. She's got long strawberry blonde hair usually twisted up onto the back of her head. She's covered from head to toe in freckles. She's got an eye condition which prevents her from having corrective surgery, so she wears glasses.

We have added to our technological distinctiveness to become one. The process of rebuilding the front-end is still ongoing. Making "a" website... that's easy. Making a website that uses all our content over decades... that's hard. Qatlhqu' tlhIngan Hol |
